The Hydraforce 5122678 (5122678) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, pilot-operated, spool-type, proportional pressure reducing/relieving valve. The regulated pressure is directly proportional to the electrical current applied to the valve coil. In operation, when current is applied, the TS10-36X permits flow from port 2 to port 1 until the pressure at port 1 offsets the solenoid force and opens the pilot section. Once the set pressure is achieved at port 1, the valve adjusts to restrict inlet flow at port 2 to maintain desired pressure levels at port 1 while also providing relief from port 1 to port 3 if necessary. Without any current applied, it defaults to relieve at approximately 100 psi [6.9 bar].
