The Hydraforce 5122634 (5122634) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, pilot-operated, spool-type proportional pressure reducing and relieving valve. This model, known as the TS10-36X, offers infinite adjustment across a specified range through variable electric input. The regulated pressure of this valve is directly proportional to the electrical current applied to it. In operation, when current is supplied to the valve coil, it facilitates flow from port 2 to port 1 until the pressure at port 1 reaches a level sufficient to open the pilot section by counteracting the solenoid force induced electrically. At this predetermined pressure at port 1, the valve adjusts to restrict inlet flow at port 2, effectively regulating the pressure at port 1. Additionally, in this mode, it allows for relieving from port 1 to port 3. In scenarios where no current is applied, the valve will relieve at approximately 100 psi (6.9 bar). The TS10-36X features standard coils available in both 12 and 24 volts and offers optional waterproof E-Coils with an IP69K rating for enhanced durability in harsh environments.
