The Hydraforce 5122614 (5122614) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, pilot-operated, spool-type proportional pressure reducing/relieving valve. When current is applied to the valve coil, the TS10-36X permits flow from port 2 to port 1 until enough pressure at port 1 counteracts the solenoid force induced by electricity. Once this predetermined pressure at port 1 is achieved, the valve adjusts to restrict inlet flow at port 2, effectively regulating pressure at port 1 and simultaneously relieving excess from port 1 to port 3.
