The Hydraforce 5122491 (5122491) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, pilot-operated, spool-type proportional pressure reducing/relieving valve known as the TS10-36X. This valve is designed for precise control and can be infinitely adjusted across a specified range using a variable electric input. The regulated pressure output is directly proportional to the electrical current applied to the valve coil. When current is applied, the TS10-36XX facilitates fluid flow from port 2 to port 1 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to open the pilot section by counteracting the solenoid force. Once this predetermined pressure at port 1 is achieved, the valve adjusts to restrict inlet flow at port 2, thereby maintaining stable pressure at port 1. In addition to regulating pressure, this mode allows for relieving pressure from port 1 to port 3. Without any electrical current applied, the valve defaults to relieve pressure at approximately 100 psi [6.9 bar]. The TS10-36X features standard coils available in both 12 and 24 volts and offers optional waterproof E-Coils rated up to IP69K for enhanced durability in harsh environments.
