The Hydraforce 5122210 (5122210) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, pilot-operated, spool-type proportional pressure reducing/relieving valve. This versatile component is designed to be infinitely adjustable across a specified range using a variable electric input, with the regulated pressure being directly proportional to the electrical current applied. When current is applied to the valve coil, it enables flow from port 2 to port 1 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to open the pilot section by counterbalancing the electrically induced solenoid force. Upon reaching this predetermined pressure at port 1, the valve adjusts to restrict inlet flow at port 2, thus regulating the pressure at port 1 while also relieving port 1 to port 3. In scenarios where no current is applied, the valve will relieve at approximately 100 psi [6.9 bar]. The TS10-36X model offers features such as standard 12 and 24-volt coils, optional waterproof E-Coils rated up to IP69K for enhanced durability in harsh environments, and an industry-common cavity design for compatibility with existing systems.
