The Hydraforce 5122202 (5122202) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, pilot-operated, spool-type, proportional pressure reducing/relieving valve. The valve's operation is straightforward: when electrical current is applied to the valve coil, it allows flow from port 2 to port 1 until the pressure at port 1 offsets the solenoid force and opens the pilot section. Once the predetermined pressure at port 1 is reached, the valve adjusts to restrict inlet flow at port 2, effectively regulating pressure at port 1. Additionally, in this mode, it facilitates pressure relief from port 1 to port 3.
