The Hydraforce 5122201 (5122201) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, pilot-operated, spool-type, proportional pressure reducing/relieving valve. This versatile component can be infinitely adjusted across a prescribed range using a variable electric input, with the regulated pressure being directly proportional to the input electrical current. When current is applied to the valve coil, it allows flow from port 2 to port 1 until sufficient pressure at port 1 opens the pilot section by counteracting the solenoid force induced electrically. Once the predetermined pressure at port 1 is achieved, the valve restricts inlet flow at port 2 to regulate pressure at port 1 and also facilitates relieving from port 1 to port 3. In scenarios where no current is applied, the valve will relieve at approximately 100 psi [6.9 bar]. The TS10-36X model comes equipped with standard 12 and 24-volt coils and offers optional waterproof E-Coils with ratings up to IP69K for enhanced durability in harsh environments. Its design features an industry-common cavity and an optional manual override for added flexibility in operation.
