The Hydraforce 5122158 (5122158) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, pilot-operated, spool-type proportional pressure reducing/relieving valve. This model, known as the TS10-36X, is designed to be infinitely adjustable across a specified range through a variable electric input. The valve's regulated pressure is directly proportional to the input electrical current. When current is applied to the valve coil, it permits flow from port 2 to port 1 until the pressure at port 1 becomes sufficient to open the pilot section by counteracting the solenoid force induced electrically. Once the predetermined pressure at port 1 is achieved, the valve shifts to restrict inlet flow at port 2, thus regulating pressure at port 1 while also providing relief from port 1 to port 3. In scenarios where no electrical current is applied, the valve will relieve at approximately 100 psi [6.9 bar].
