The Hydraforce 5122157 (5122157) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, pilot-operated, spool-type proportional pressure reducing/relieving valve. Known for its versatile application capabilities, the TS10-36X model can be infinitely adjusted across a specified range using a variable electric input. This feature enables the regulated pressure to be directly proportional to the input electrical current, providing precise control over hydraulic systems. When current is applied to the valve coil, it allows flow from port 2 to port 1 until sufficient pressure at port 1 opens the pilot section by counteracting the solenoid force induced by electricity. Upon reaching a predetermined pressure at port 1, the valve shifts to restrict inlet flow at port 2 while simultaneously regulating and relieving pressure from port 1 to port 3. In scenarios where no current is applied, the valve will relieve at an approximate level of 100 psi (6.9 bar).
