The Hydraforce 5122121 (5122121) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, pilot-operated, spool-type, proportional pressure reducing/relieving valve known as the TS10-36X. This versatile component is designed to be infinitely adjustable across a specific range through a variable electric input, with the regulated pressure being directly proportional to the input electrical current. When current is applied to the valve coil, it permits flow from port 2 to port 1 until sufficient pressure at port 1 triggers the pilot section by counteracting the solenoid force induced electrically. Once this predetermined pressure at port 1 is achieved, the valve acts to restrict inlet flow at port 2, thereby regulating pressure at port 1. In this operational mode, it also provides relief from port 1 to port 3. Without any electrical current applied, the valve defaults to relieve at approximately 100 psi [6.9 bar]. The TS10-36X features standard coils available in both 12 and 24 volts and offers optional waterproof E-Coils rated up to IP69K for enhanced durability in demanding environments. It fits into an industry-common cavity and includes an optional manual override for added flexibility in operation.
