The Hydraforce 5122116 (5122116) is a versatile screw-in, cartridge-style valve designed for precise pressure control in hydraulic systems. Specifically, it is a pilot-operated, spool-type proportional pressure reducing/relieving valve that can be infinitely adjusted within a specified range using a variable electric input. The regulated pressure is directly proportional to the input electrical current, ensuring accurate and responsive system performance. When current is applied to the valve coil, the TS10-36X model allows flow from port 2 to port 1 until the pressure at port 1 reaches a level sufficient to open the pilot section by counteracting the solenoid force induced electrically. Once this predetermined pressure at port 1 is achieved, the valve adjusts to limit inlet flow from port 2, thereby maintaining consistent pressure at port 1 while also relieving excess pressure from port 1 to port 3. In scenarios where no current is applied, the valve will relieve at approximately 100 psi [6.9 bar]. This model features standard 12 and 24-volt coils and offers optional waterproof E-Coils rated up to IP69K for enhanced durability in demanding environments.
