The Hydraforce 5122112 (5122112) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, pilot-operated, spool-type proportional pressure reducing/relieving valve. This versatile component can be infinitely adjusted across a predetermined pressure range using a variable electric input, making it suitable for applications requiring precise pressure control. The regulated pressure is directly proportional to the input electrical current. When current is applied to the valve coil, the TS10-36X model allows flow from port 2 to port 1 until the necessary pressure at port 1 offsets the electrically induced solenoid force and opens the pilot section. Once this predetermined pressure is reached at port 1, the valve adjusts to restrict inlet flow at port 2 and regulates pressure at port 1 while also relieving excess pressure from port 1 to port 3. In scenarios where no current is applied, the valve will relieve at approximately 100 psi [6.9 bar]. This model features standard options for both 12 and 24-volt coils and offers optional waterproof E-Coils rated up to IP69K for enhanced durability in harsh environments. It fits an industry-common cavity and includes an optional manual override for added control flexibility in various hydraulic systems.
