The Hydraforce 5122109 (5122109) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, pilot-operated, spool-type proportional pressure reducing/relieving valve. This versatile component is designed for applications requiring precise pressure control, as it can be infinitely adjusted across a specific range using a variable electric input. The regulated pressure is directly proportional to the input electrical current, allowing for highly accurate and responsive operation. When current is applied to the valve coil, the TS10-36X model facilitates flow from port 2 to port 1 until the pressure at port 1 reaches a level sufficient to open the pilot section by counteracting the solenoid force induced electrically. Once this predetermined pressure is achieved at port 1, the valve adjusts to restrict inlet flow at port 2, thereby maintaining consistent pressure at port 1. In this state, it also provides relief from port 1 to port 3. Without any current applied, the valve defaults to relieve at approximately 100 psi (6.9 bar).
