The Hydraforce 5122108 (5122108) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, pilot-operated, spool-type proportional pressure reducing/relieving valve. This model, known as the TS10-36X, is engineered to provide precise control over hydraulic pressure by being infinitely adjustable within a specified range through a variable electric input. The regulated pressure directly corresponds to the input electrical current, allowing for precise adjustments. When current is applied to the valve coil, the TS10-36XX enables flow from port 2 to port 1 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to open the pilot section by counteracting the solenoid force induced by electricity. Once this predetermined pressure is achieved at port 1, the valve shifts to restrict inlet flow at port 2, thus regulating pressure at port 1 and simultaneously relieving port 1 to port 3. In scenarios where no current is applied, the valve defaults to relieve at approximately 100 psi [6.9 bar]. This model features both 12 and 24-volt coils as standard options and offers optional waterproof E-Coils rated up to IP69K for enhanced durability in demanding environments. It also includes an industry-common cavity and an optional manual override for added flexibility in operation.
