The Hydraforce 5111181 (5111181) is a solenoid-operated, pressure-compensated, spool-type, normally closed, priority type proportional flow control regulator. It is designed to regulate priority flow out of port 3 with inlet flow at port 1, maintaining consistent performance regardless of the system's working pressure. The flow rate is proportional to the current applied to the solenoid, and any excessive flow is bypassed out of port 2, which can be utilized for auxiliary function control. In restrictive mode applications, blocking bypass port 2 allows the flow rate out of port 3 to remain proportional to the solenoid current irrespective of the load pressure at port 3. This model features excellent linearity and hysteresis characteristics and includes a hardened spool and cage for enhanced durability.
