The Hydraforce 5111168 (5111168) is a solenoid operated, pressure compensated, spool type, normally closed, priority type proportional flow control regulator. This versatile valve can also function as a restrictive type, 2-way pressure compensated proportional flow regulator when port 2 is blocked. Designed for applications where inlet flow enters through port 1, the valve effectively regulates priority flow out of port 3 regardless of system working pressure. The flow rate is directly proportional to the current applied to the solenoid. Any excessive flow bypasses through port 2 and can be utilized for auxiliary function control. In scenarios where restrictive mode applications are required, blocking bypass port 2 ensures that the flow rate out of port 3 remains consistent and proportional to the solenoid's current input, independent of the load or pressure applied at port 3. This model features excellent linearity and hysteresis characteristics due to its hardened spool and cage construction which ensures long-lasting performance. It offers optional coil voltages and terminations along with an efficient wet-armature construction that enhances durability. The cartridges are designed for voltage interchangeability, providing flexibility in various applications. Additionally, it includes a unitized molded coil design with standard coil waterproofing and an available manual override option for added convenience in operation.
