The Hydraforce 5111160 (5111160) is a solenoid-operated, pressure-compensated, spool-type, normally closed, priority-type proportional flow control regulator. It is designed for applications requiring precise flow regulation and can also function as a restrictive-type, two-way pressure-compensated proportional flow regulator when port 2 is blocked. With inlet flow at port 1, the valve ensures regulated priority flow out of port 3, independent of system working pressure, with the flow rate being proportional to the current applied to the solenoid. Excessive flow bypasses through port 2 and can be utilized for auxiliary functions. To prevent blocking of the bypass line, it is important to avoid dead-heading of the priority line through external valving. In restrictive mode applications where port 2 is blocked, the flow rate out of port 3 remains proportional to the solenoid current regardless of load pressure at port 3. The PV70-30 features excellent linearity and hysteresis characteristics with hardened spool and cage for enhanced durability. It offers optional coil voltages and terminations along with efficient wet-armature construction.
