The Hydraforce 5111158 (5111158) is a solenoid-operated, pressure-compensated, spool-type, normally closed, priority-type proportional flow control regulator. It is versatile in its applications and can function as a restrictive type, two-way, pressure-compensated proportional flow regulator by blocking port 2. Designed for efficient operation, the valve manages priority flow out of port 3 with input at port 1, maintaining regulation regardless of system working pressure. The flow rate is directly proportional to the current applied to the solenoid. Excessive flow is bypassed through port 2 and can be redirected for auxiliary functions. When used in restrictive mode with port 2 blocked, the flow rate out of port 3 remains consistent with the solenoid's current input irrespective of load pressures at port 3. Notable features include excellent linearity and hysteresis characteristics due to its hardened spool and cage construction for durability.
