The Hydraforce 5111157 (5111157) is a solenoid-operated, pressure-compensated, spool-type, normally closed, priority type proportional flow control regulator. This versatile component can also function as a restrictive type, 2-way, pressure-compensated proportional flow regulator when port 2 is blocked. Designed for efficient operation, the valve regulates priority flow out of port 3 with inlet flow at port 1, maintaining consistent performance regardless of system working pressure. The flow rate is directly proportional to the current applied to the solenoid. Excessive flow is bypassed through port 2 and can be utilized for auxiliary functions; however, it is crucial to avoid deadheading of the priority line by external valving to prevent blocking of the bypass line.
