The Hydraforce 5111152 (5111152) is a solenoid-operated, pressure-compensated, spool-type, normally closed, priority-type proportional flow control regulator. This versatile component can also function as a restrictive type, 2-way, pressure-compensated proportional flow regulator when port 2 is blocked. Designed for precise control, it regulates priority flow out of port 3 regardless of system working pressure, with the flow rate being proportional to the current applied to the solenoid. Excessive flow is bypassed out of port 2 and can be utilized for auxiliary functions. It is important to avoid dead heading of the priority line by external valving to prevent blocking of the bypass line. In applications where it operates in restrictive mode with port 2 blocked, the flow rate out of port 3 remains proportional to the current applied to the solenoid irrespective of load pressure at port 3.
