The Hydraforce 5111142V (5111142V) is a solenoid-operated, pressure-compensated, spool-type, normally closed, priority-type proportional flow control regulator. This versatile component can also function as a restrictive type, 2-way, pressure-compensated proportional flow regulator when port 2 is blocked. Designed for applications requiring precise flow regulation, the valve manages inlet flow at port 1 by regulating priority flow out of port 3, irrespective of system working pressure. The flow rate is directly proportional to the current applied to the solenoid. Any excess flow is bypassed out of port 2 and can be utilized for auxiliary function control. It is important to avoid deadheading of the priority line by external valving to prevent blocking of the bypass line. In restrictive mode applications where bypass port 2 is blocked, the flow rate out of port 3 remains consistent with the current applied to the solenoid regardless of the load or pressure applied to port 3.
