The Hydraforce 5111081V (5111081V) is a solenoid-operated, pressure-compensated, spool-type, normally closed, priority-type proportional flow control regulator. It can also function as a restrictive type, 2-way, pressure-compensated proportional flow regulator when port 2 is blocked. Designed for versatility and precision, this valve regulates priority flow from port 1 to port 3 with the flow rate being proportional to the current applied to the solenoid, regardless of system working pressure. Excessive flow is redirected through port 2, which can be utilized for auxiliary functions. In restrictive mode applications where bypass port 2 is blocked, the flow rate out of port 3 remains consistent and proportional to the solenoid current irrespective of the load applied at port 3. The PV70-30 boasts excellent linearity and hysteresis characteristics due to its hardened spool and cage construction for enhanced durability.
