The Hydraforce 5111080 (5111080) is a solenoid-operated, pressure-compensated, spool-type, normally closed, priority-type proportional flow control regulator. It can also function as a restrictive type, 2-way, pressure-compensated proportional flow regulator when port 2 is blocked. This versatile valve regulates priority flow from port 1 to port 3, independent of system working pressure, with the flow rate being proportional to the current applied to the solenoid. Any excess flow bypasses through port 2 and can be utilized for auxiliary functions. In restrictive mode applications with port 2 blocked, the flow rate out of port 3 remains proportional to the solenoid current regardless of load pressure at port 3. The PV70-30 model boasts excellent linearity and hysteresis characteristics and features a hardened spool and cage for extended durability. It offers optional coil voltages and terminations along with an efficient wet-armature construction. The cartridges are voltage-interchangeable, and the unitized molded coil design includes standard waterproofing for enhanced reliability in various environments.
