The Hydraforce 5111077 (5111077) is a solenoid-operated, pressure-compensated, spool-type, normally closed, priority-type proportional flow control regulator. It can also function as a restrictive type, 2-way, pressure-compensated proportional flow regulator when port 2 is blocked. When inlet flow enters through port 1, the valve regulates priority flow out of port 3, with the flow rate being proportional to the current applied to the solenoid. Any excessive flow is redirected through port 2 for auxiliary function control. It is essential to avoid deadheading of the priority line by external valving to prevent blocking of the bypass line. In restrictive mode applications where bypass port 2 is blocked, the flow rate out of port 3 remains proportional to current applied to the solenoid regardless of load pressure at port 3.
