The Hydraforce 5111075 (5111075) is a solenoid-operated, pressure-compensated, spool-type, normally closed, priority-type proportional flow control regulator. It can also function as a restrictive type, 2-way, pressure-compensated proportional flow regulator when port 2 is blocked. The valve operates with inlet flow at port 1 and regulates priority flow out of port 3, maintaining this regulation regardless of system working pressure. The flow rate is proportional to the current applied to the solenoid. Excessive flow bypasses out of port 2 and can be utilized for auxiliary function control. It is important to avoid deadheading the priority line by external valving to prevent blocking of the bypass line. In restrictive mode applications where bypass port 2 is blocked, the flow rate out of port 3 remains proportional to the current applied to the solenoid regardless of load or pressure applied to port 3. This product boasts excellent linearity and hysteresis characteristics and features a hardened spool and cage for long life. It offers optional coil voltages and terminations with an efficient wet-armature construction. The cartridges are voltage-interchangeable, ensuring versatility in various applications. The unitized, molded coil design includes standard coil waterproofing for enhanced durability in demanding environments. An optional manual override provides additional control flexibility for users requiring manual intervention capabilities.
