The Hydraforce 5111070 (5111070) is a solenoid-operated, pressure-compensated, spool-type, normally closed, priority-type proportional flow control regulator. It is versatile and can also function as a restrictive type, 2-way pressure-compensated proportional flow regulator when port 2 is blocked. Designed for precise fluid control, this valve regulates priority flow from port 1 to port 3, maintaining consistent output regardless of system working pressure. The flow rate is directly proportional to the current applied to the solenoid. Excessive flow bypasses through port 2, which can be utilized for auxiliary functions. In restrictive mode applications where bypass port 2 must be blocked, the flow rate from port 3 remains consistent with the solenoid current, unaffected by load pressures at port 3. Key features of this model include excellent linearity and hysteresis characteristics due to its hardened spool and cage construction for enhanced durability. The unit offers optional coil voltages and terminations to suit various application needs. With an efficient wet-armature construction and cartridges that are voltage-interchangeable, it ensures reliability and flexibility in different environments. The valve also comes with a unitized molded coil design featuring standard waterproofing for added protection against harsh conditions. Additionally, a manual override option is available for ease of operation in various scenarios.
