The Hydraforce 5111056 (5111056) is a solenoid-operated, pressure-compensated, spool-type, normally closed, priority-type proportional flow control regulator. This versatile component can also function as a restrictive type, 2-way, pressure-compensated proportional flow regulator when port 2 is blocked. Designed for optimal performance, the valve regulates priority flow from port 1 to port 3, ensuring consistent output regardless of system working pressure. The flow rate is directly proportional to the current applied to the solenoid. Any excess flow bypasses through port 2 and can be used for auxiliary functions. In applications requiring restrictive mode operation, blocking bypass port 2 allows the flow rate out of port 3 to remain proportional to the solenoid current irrespective of load pressures at port 3. The PV70-30 model is noted for its excellent linearity and minimal hysteresis characteristics. It features a hardened spool and cage for enhanced durability and longevity.
