The Hydraforce 5111039 (5111039) is a solenoid-operated, pressure-compensated, spool-type, normally closed, priority-type proportional flow control regulator. It offers versatility by functioning as a restrictive type, 2-way, pressure-compensated proportional flow regulator when port 2 is blocked. The valve manages inlet flow at port 1 to regulate priority flow out of port 3 regardless of system working pressure, with the flow rate being proportional to the current applied to the solenoid. Excessive flow is bypassed out of port 2 and can be utilized for auxiliary function control. However, it is important to avoid dead heading of the priority line through external valving to prevent blocking of the bypass line. In restrictive mode applications where bypass port 2 is blocked, the flow rate out of port 3 remains proportional to the current applied to the solenoid irrespective of load or pressure at port 3.
