The Hydraforce 5111038 (5111038) is a solenoid-operated, pressure-compensated, spool-type, normally closed, priority-type proportional flow control regulator. This versatile component can also function as a restrictive type, 2-way, pressure-compensated proportional flow regulator when port 2 is blocked. Designed to regulate priority flow from port 1 to port 3 independently of system working pressure, the flow rate is directly proportional to the current applied to the solenoid. Any excess flow is bypassed through port 2 and can be utilized for auxiliary function control. It is crucial to avoid deadheading of the priority line by external valving to ensure that the bypass line remains unblocked.
