The Hydraforce 5111033 (5111033) is a solenoid-operated, pressure-compensated, spool-type, normally closed, priority-type proportional flow control regulator. This versatile component can also function as a restrictive type, 2-way, pressure-compensated proportional flow regulator when port 2 is blocked. With inlet flow at port 1, the valve effectively regulates priority flow out of port 3 regardless of system working pressure, with the flow rate being proportional to the current applied to the solenoid. Any excess flow bypasses out of port 2 and can be utilized for auxiliary function control. It is important to avoid deadheading of the priority line by external valving to prevent blocking of the bypass line. In restrictive mode applications where bypass port 2 is blocked, the flow rate out of port 3 remains proportional to the current applied to the solenoid regardless of load (pressure) applied to port 3. The PV70-30 features excellent linearity and hysteresis characteristics and boasts a hardened spool and cage for durability. Optional coil voltages and terminations are available, along with an efficient wet-armature construction. The cartridges are voltage-interchangeable and feature a unitized, molded coil design with standard coil waterproofing. A manual override option is also available for added control flexibility.
