The Hydraforce 5111030 (5111030) is a solenoid-operated, pressure-compensated, spool-type, normally closed, priority-type proportional flow control regulator. This versatile component can also function as a restrictive type, two-way pressure-compensated proportional flow regulator when port 2 is blocked. Designed for applications requiring precise flow control, the valve regulates priority flow from port 1 to port 3, independent of system working pressure, with the flow rate directly proportional to the current applied to the solenoid. Excess flow bypasses through port 2 and can be utilized for auxiliary functions. It\u2019s important to avoid dead heading of the priority line by external valving to prevent blocking of the bypass line. In restrictive mode applications where bypass port 2 is blocked, the flow rate out of port 3 remains proportional to the solenoid current regardless of load pressure at port 3. The PV70-30 model features excellent linearity and hysteresis characteristics due to its hardened spool and cage construction for enhanced durability. It offers optional coil voltages and terminations along with efficient wet-armature construction for robust performance. The cartridges are voltage-interchangeable and feature a unitized molded coil design with standard coil waterproofing. Additionally, a manual override option is available for added control flexibility in various hydraulic applications.
