The Hydraforce 5111017 (5111017) is a solenoid-operated, pressure-compensated, spool-type, normally closed, priority-type proportional flow control regulator. It is designed for applications requiring precise flow regulation with the flexibility to operate as either a priority or restrictive type flow regulator. In its primary function as a priority flow control, the valve regulates the priority flow out of port 3 from inlet flow at port 1, maintaining consistent performance regardless of system working pressure. The flow rate is directly proportional to the current applied to the solenoid. Excessive flow is bypassed through port 2 and can be utilized for auxiliary functions. For restrictive mode applications, blocking bypass port 2 allows the valve to maintain proportional flow out of port 3, independent of load pressure at port 3.
