The Hydraforce 5111015 (5111015) is a solenoid-operated, pressure-compensated, spool-type, normally closed, priority-type proportional flow control regulator. This versatile valve can also function as a restrictive type, 2-way pressure-compensated proportional flow regulator when port 2 is blocked. When inlet flow enters through port 1, the valve efficiently regulates priority flow out of port 3, maintaining consistent performance regardless of system working pressure. The flow rate is directly proportional to the current applied to the solenoid. Excessive flow is bypassed out of port 2 and can be utilized for auxiliary function control. In applications where a restrictive mode is needed, blocking bypass port 2 ensures that the flow rate from port 3 remains proportional to the solenoid current regardless of the load or pressure applied at port 3. The PV70-30 model features excellent linearity and hysteresis characteristics and includes a hardened spool and cage for enhanced durability. It offers optional coil voltages and terminations along with efficient wet-armature construction for reliability. The cartridges are voltage-interchangeable, and the unitized molded coil design ensures robustness with standard coil waterproofing.
