The Hydraforce 5111011 (5111011) is a solenoid operated, pressure compensated, spool type, normally closed, priority type proportional flow control regulator. This versatile component can also function as a restrictive type, 2-way, pressure compensated proportional flow regulator by blocking port 2. When inlet flow is directed to port 1, the valve efficiently regulates priority flow from port 3 regardless of the system's working pressure, with the flow rate being directly proportional to the current applied to the solenoid. Excessive flow is bypassed through port 2 and can be utilized for auxiliary function control; however, it's crucial to avoid dead heading of the priority line by external valving to prevent blocking of the bypass line. In restrictive mode applications where bypass port 2 is blocked, the flow rate from port 3 remains consistent with the solenoid current regardless of the load or pressure at port 3.
