The Hydraforce 5111010 (5111010) is a solenoid-operated, pressure-compensated, spool-type, normally closed, priority-type proportional flow control regulator. This versatile component can also function as a restrictive type, 2-way, pressure-compensated proportional flow regulator when port 2 is blocked. Designed for precision and efficiency, the valve regulates priority flow from port 1 to port 3 based on the current applied to the solenoid, regardless of system working pressure. Excessive flow is bypassed out of port 2 and can be utilized for auxiliary functions; however, care should be taken to avoid deadheading the priority line by external valving to ensure the bypass line remains unblocked. In restrictive mode applications where port 2 is blocked, the flow rate out of port 3 remains proportional to the solenoid current despite varying load pressures at port 3. The product boasts excellent linearity and hysteresis characteristics due to its hardened spool and cage construction which ensures long life and durability. It offers optional coil voltages and terminations along with an efficient wet-armature construction. The cartridges are voltage-interchangeable and feature a unitized molded coil design with standard waterproofing for enhanced reliability in various conditions. Additionally, a manual override option is available for added control flexibility.
