The Hydraforce 5111000P (5111000P) is a solenoid-operated, pressure-compensated, spool-type, normally closed, priority-type proportional flow control regulator. This versatile component can also function as a restrictive type, 2-way pressure-compensated proportional flow regulator when port 2 is blocked. It manages inlet flow at port 1 to regulate priority flow out of port 3, maintaining consistent performance regardless of system working pressure. The flow rate is directly proportional to the current applied to the solenoid. Excessive flow bypasses through port 2 and can be utilized for auxiliary functions, though care should be taken to avoid dead-heading the priority line by using external valving to prevent blocking the bypass line. In restrictive mode applications where bypass port 2 is blocked, the flow rate out of port 3 remains proportional to the solenoid current irrespective of the load pressure applied at port 3.
