The Hydraforce 5110532 (5110532) is a solenoid-operated, pressure-compensated, spool-type, normally closed, priority-type proportional flow control regulator. This versatile component can also function as a restrictive type, 2-way, pressure-compensated proportional flow regulator when port 2 is blocked. In its primary operation mode, with inlet flow at port 1, the valve regulates priority flow out of port 3 regardless of system working pressure. The flow rate is directly proportional to the current applied to the solenoid. Any excess flow bypasses through port 2 and can be utilized for auxiliary function control. It's crucial to avoid dead heading of the priority line by external valving to prevent blocking of the bypass line. When used in restrictive mode applications with port 2 blocked, the flow rate out of port 3 remains proportional to the current applied to the solenoid irrespective of load or pressure on port 3.
