The Hydraforce 5110529 (5110529) is a versatile solenoid-operated, pressure-compensated, spool-type valve designed for precise flow control in hydraulic systems. This normally closed, priority-type proportional flow control regulator can also function as a restrictive type, 2-way pressure-compensated proportional flow regulator when port 2 is blocked. With inlet flow at port 1, the valve efficiently regulates priority flow out of port 3 regardless of system working pressure, with the flow rate directly proportional to the current applied to the solenoid. Excessive flow is bypassed out of port 2, which can be utilized for auxiliary function control. However, care must be taken to avoid dead heading of the priority line by external valving to prevent blocking of the bypass line. In restrictive mode applications where bypass port 2 is blocked, the flow rate out of port 3 remains proportional to the solenoid current regardless of load or pressure applied to port 3.
