The Hydraforce 5110504 (5110504) is a solenoid-operated, pressure-compensated, spool-type, normally closed, priority-type proportional flow control regulator. It is designed to regulate priority flow out of port 3 with inlet flow at port 1, regardless of system working pressure. The flow rate is proportional to the current applied to the solenoid, while excessive flow bypasses out of port 2, which can be used for auxiliary function control. When used as a restrictive type, 2-way pressure-compensated proportional flow regulator with port 2 blocked, the valve maintains a proportional flow rate out of port 3 irrespective of the load applied. The PV08-30 features excellent linearity and hysteresis characteristics and includes a hardened spool and cage for long life. It offers optional coil voltages and terminations and employs efficient wet-armature construction.
