The Hydraforce 5122858 (5122858) is a direct-acting, spool-type, proportional pressure relieving valve designed for precise pressure control applications. The TS38-21 model features a unique mechanism where the regulated pressure is inversely proportional to the input electrical current. This means that as electrical current is applied to the coil, the induced spring force decreases, allowing for a reduction in valve setting and thus adjusting the pressure relief point. The valve operates by blocking flow from port 1 to port 2 until sufficient pressure at port 1 overcomes the preset spring force. In scenarios where no current is applied, it will relieve at its maximum range. This product includes standard 12 and 24 volt coils with optional waterproof E-Coils that are rated up to IP69K for enhanced durability in harsh environments. It also features an industry-common cavity design with hardened parts for extended operational life and reliability. Additionally, port 1 is protected by a 150 mesh screen to prevent contamination and ensure smooth operation.
