The Hydraforce 5122704 (5122704) is a direct-acting, spool-type, proportional pressure relieving valve known as the TS38-21. This valve is designed to regulate pressure inversely proportional to the input electrical current, meaning that as the electrical current increases, the pressure setting decreases. The valve features a protective 150 mesh screen at Port 1 and operates by blocking flow from Port 1 to Port 2 until the pressure at Port 1 overcomes the preset spring force, allowing the valve to open. In its default state with no electrical current applied, it will relieve at its maximum range. It comes standard with both 12 and 24-volt coils and offers an optional waterproof E-Coil rated up to IP69K for enhanced durability and protection against harsh environments. The TS38-21 fits into an industry-common cavity and is constructed with hardened parts for extended life and reliable performance in demanding applications.
