The Hydraforce 5009226 (5009226) is a solenoid-operated, 4-way, 2-position, direct-acting spool type, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve designed for efficient control in hydraulic systems. The operation of this valve allows for selective routing of fluids based on its energized or de-energized state. When de-energized, flow paths are established from port 3 to port 2 and from port 4 to port 1. Conversely, when energized, the spool shifts to connect port 3 to port 4 and port 2 to port 1 with all ports open at crossover.
This model features a continuous-duty rated coil and boasts a hardened precision spool and cage which enhance its durability and lifespan under rigorous conditions. It offers flexibility in system design with optional coil voltages and terminations available to suit varied operational requirements. The efficient wet-armature construction of the Hydraforce 5009226 ensures reliable performance while allowing all ports to be fully pressurized.
Additional functionalities include a unitized, molded coil design which contributes to the compact size of the valve making it ideal for applications where space is limited. For enhanced usability, this model can be equipped with a manual override option. Moreover, for environments requiring robust performance against water ingress, there are optional waterproof E-Coils rated up to IP69K available. This versatility makes the Hydraforce 5009226 suitable for a wide range of hydraulic applications needing precise control over fluid handling and directionality within their systems.
