The Hydraforce 5008227 (5008227) is a solenoid-operated, 4-port, 3-position, direct acting spool type screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve designed for versatile hydraulic flow control in various applications. This valve operates efficiently by blocking the inlet port 3 when de-energized, while allowing flow from ports 2 and 4 to port 1. When coil 1 is energized, it permits flow from port 3 to port 4 and from port 2 to port 1. Conversely, energizing coil 2 allows flow from port 3 to port 2 and from port 4 to port 1. Its continuous-duty rated solenoid ensures reliable operation under sustained usage.
The Hydraforce model features a hardened precision spool and cage which enhance its durability and service life. It offers optional coil voltages and terminations to suit different electrical requirements and applications. For enhanced operational flexibility, it includes a manual override option. The optional waterproof E-Coils are rated up to IP69K, providing protection against ingress of dust and high temperature high-pressure water jets.
Moreover, the efficient wet-armature construction of the valve helps in reducing energy consumption while maintaining performance. All ports on this valve can withstand full pressurization which broadens its applicability across various hydraulic systems. The cartridges are voltage interchangeable which simplifies maintenance and replacement processes. Its unitized, molded coil design along with an industry-common cavity ensures compact size and ease of installation in diverse setups.
