The Hydraforce 5002123 (5002123) is a solenoid-operated, 2-port, normally closed, direct-acting, needle-type, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve. This valve is specifically designed to function as a blocking or load-holding device suitable for low flow circuits. In its default state when de-energized, the SV0826 model effectively blocks flow in both directions up to its pressure rating. Should the pressure at port 1 exceed this rating, the valve allows flow from port 1 to port 2. Conversely, when the valve is energized, the needle point lifts, opening the valve bidirectionally which facilitates fluid movement through both ports; with port 2 being the recommended load-holding port.
This model features a continuous-duty rated coil and a hardened seat that ensures long life and minimal leakage. It offers versatility through optional coil voltages and terminations while maintaining interchangeability across different voltage cartridges. The unitized, molded coil design enhances durability and reliability of operation. Additionally, it includes a manual override option which increases its utility in various applications.
