The Bosch Rexroth 4WE6J6X/EG24N9DA/B10 (R901229530) is a high-performance directional spool valve designed for controlling the start, stop, and direction of flow in hydraulic systems. This solenoid-operated valve is part of the WE series and features two switching positions, two electromagnets, and no spring return on the control spool—meaning it does not have a defined basic position when de-energized. The valve's housing, electromagnets, control spool, and return springs are engineered for durability and reliable operation. The 4WE6J6X/EG24N9DA/B10 has an optional auxiliary actuation for manual switching without magnet supply and requires proper venting of the hydraulic system to function correctly. Its design allows for soft switching behavior that minimizes switching strokes and associated acceleration values, contributing to a smoother operation. It also includes features such as porting pattern according to ISO with or without locating hole, high-power solenoid that can be optionally rotated by 90 degrees, electric connection options as single or central connection, and optional spool position monitoring. This model conforms to CE standards for Low-Voltage Directive EU for electrical voltages greater than 50 VAC or 75 VDC. The solenoid coil comes with an UR marking according to UL edition (optional), and there's an optional approval according to CSA C22.2 No. 139. It is designed to handle a maximum operating pressure of up to 350 bar and maximum flow rates of DC 80 l/min and AC 60 l/min. Note that pressure peaks in the drain line may cause unintended control spool movements in versions with detent; thus separate return lines or check valves are recommended. Internal leakage inherent in the design may increase over service life. A throttle insert may be required under certain operating conditions exceeding the performance limit of the valve during switching processes.
