The Bosch Rexroth L-DB80F2-3X/16 (R900356093) is a pilot-operated pressure relief valve designed to maintain a low preload pressure while being capable of handling high flow rates. This valve features a pipeline installation housing, a main spool guide to house the pilot control valve, and a main spool that operates to regulate pressure. The model L-DB operates by allowing the pressure in channel P to act on the main spool, which is also communicated to the pilot control valve through nozzles. When the pressure at channel P surpasses the preset value on the pilot control valve, it triggers the valve to open, releasing pilot oil directly into channel Y. The movement of the main spool upwards against springs is dependent on this pressure exceeding the set value at the pilot control valve, thereby connecting channels P and T. This connection persists as long as the pressure remains above this threshold. The L-DB version U uniquely features an external spring that keeps the main spool closed; when there's no load on the control channel, it can achieve a lower circulation pressure. Additionally, there's a variant known as Type LDBF which functions similarly to Type LDB but is distinctively designed as a cartridge valve without pipeline housing for flange connections. It adheres to DIN EN standards for flange connections and offers various adjustment types for setting pressure levels, including a sleeve with hexagon and protective cap for precise adjustments. These valves are tailored for applications requiring reliable high-flow pressure relief with an emphasis on controlling preload pressures effectively.
