Capable of handling all track widths and suitable for all chain types, this return unit can withstand a maximum permissible chain tensile force in its return function of up to Fmax 1250 N. When used as a head drive without a chain bag, it can manage up to Fmax 5000 N. It supports section lengths up to L=30 m in return unit function and L=15 m in drive function. With conveying speeds of vN = 12 m/min (and other speeds available upon request), it offers high flexibility and short delivery times due to its innovative drive concept. The RETURN 160+ AL is not intended for reversible operation but can be used as a wedge conveyor drive when paired with the appropriate drive kit. Its pulling section allows for pushing operation on request, further enhancing its versatility within conveyor system applications.

Thanks to the innovative drive concept, the return unit can be operated simply by itself or supplemented with a drive kit to be operated as a head drive without chain bag. The section length is limited to a maximum of 7 m.
