The Hydraforce HEX NUT SV08-21 & 23 (7004416) is a solenoid-operated, two-way, normally open, poppet-type hydraulic cartridge valve. It is specifically designed for low leakage in load-holding applications. In its de-energized state, the SV08-21 allows fluid flow from port 2 to port 1 while severely restricting flow from port 1 to port 2. When energized, the valve's poppet closes on its seat, effectively blocking flow from port 2 to port 1; however, it will permit flow from port 1 to port 2 once the solenoid force is overcome. This model features a continuous-duty rated coil and a hardened seat for enhanced longevity and minimal leakage. The cartridge valves are voltage interchangeable and come with a unitized, molded coil design that includes optional coil voltages and terminations. A manual override option is available as well as optional waterproof E-Coils that are rated up to IP69K for superior environmental protection. The valve fits into an industry-common cavity and boasts a compact size ideal for space-constrained applications.
