This model is compatible with mineral-based or synthetic hydraulic fluids that possess lubricating properties. The RV10-20X model effectively blocks flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 is high enough to dislodge the poppet from its seat, ensuring fast response times to load changes in hydraulic circuits while maintaining low internal leakage. While this valve is suitable for existing and new applications, it should be noted that the RVD58-20 model is considered a superior alternative due to its comparable pressure and flow ratings, better pressure rise characteristics, and smaller size.
