In operation, the RV10-20X model prevents flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to unseat the poppet. It should be noted that while this model serves existing and new applications effectively, the RVD58-20 is suggested as a superior alternative for most applications due to its improved pressure rise characteristics and smaller size.
